Gimmie Dat was really such a dope joint to create. I remember meeting Aklesso in Dallas at RG’s Tour and it just clicked. We linked up again in Atlanta at A3C and from there we decided we had to make something dope. I hit him with this joint and 2 others and off top he wanted to work on what everyone now knows as ‘Gimmie Dat’.
